- The best. And I love his warblings....
- I didnt know this selection but its OMG! Thanks alot for uploading it!!!!!!
- Woosh! I'm actually all into classical music, a string quartet fanatic, other chambre music, and style from baroque to really contemporary, but this ... is heaven on earth - I just don't get it! How does he do it - what a gifted man. And why till now I only knew him as the man of "Misty" and never sat down to listen to him playing ...
- This guy is AMAZING!
- Merci. J'aime votre site Web. Once again the hairs on the back of my neck raise. Garner has had this effect on me since 1974!
- OMG! 6:16 - 6:31 just amazing!!! awesome, unbelievable and I don't know what else...
- 100% agree with Jenny6664 & Gianni737
- Aaaaahh! Those were the days. You could go into a boozer in London and hear some old boy trying to play in the master's style..Of course he wasn't in the same class but he was trying and the music was around and ..why is everything so shit today!!!
- in some ways oscar peterson was
- This is a compilation of pieces of several songs.
- Errol Garner and Art Tatum have always been my favourite pianists since I was a kid. jenny6664 I agree with everything you say about Erroll, and you're right no-one can ever replace him. Maybe someone else will come along who is a creative and lovely player like Art and Errol were, but in different ways. Who knows...?
- that's really true. i agree. he was a true genius.
- you've posted a lot of great vids so i hate to be critical, but if you have complete performances, why would you chop them up this way? and this is not a medley. again, sorry to carp.
- I have spent the last three hours just watching Erroll Garner clips. I think if you heard every album he ever recorded, you would NEVER hear the same song played twice or more and have it sound like the first one! What an amazing person. We truly lost a wonderful genius when we lost Erroll. NO ONE can ever replace him, no matter how good they are. He was just totally wonderful and amazing! jenny6664
- Only you had not watched the video in its entirety. It is a compilation tribute to Erroll that I called "The One and Only" In memory of an album that bore this title. In this video there Several pieces!
- Has no one else recognised that the tune title is WRONG. This tune is called, "When your lover has gone"
- blessed! he is a master
- Absolutely unbelievable- passion, sweat, grace, eloquence, soul, humility, swing, compassion, genius... words simply don't do this justice.....
- erroll garner is one of the most unique jazz pianists out there.... One of my favorites (if not my favorite)
- i cant believe this video only got 4 stars. it is at the very least a ten sailin1934
