  1. 奥田や御手洗とは正反対だな
  2. amazing, I almost cried. Our CEO of a Canadian airline has just thrown us under the bus, for the 2nd time. I make less than 9 years ago and their paychecks have gone up. It's awful.
  3. Very impressive, this is truly intelligent of him. Unlike those greedy American CEO's
  4. dmain1event
  5. 200 million in a year for american ceo's??? we ahve a lot to learn from the Japanese
  7. Don't comment devious words about the article. I'm in favor of the original poster.
  8. So, your words clearly shows Singapore Airline's service quality. Is my understanding correct?
  9. I wonder if he and the Board members have plenty of Put Options TEE HEE HEE
  10. wow... what a wise guy!!!
  11. JAL service compared to US carriers far exceeded my expectations knowing that Japanese work ethics are of incomparable standards. There's something to be learned here by Americans. The Japanese are a service oriented culture when it comes to work standards. Their loyalty to the company comes first before considering any personal gain and self righteousness. Yes, there is no perfect systems, but the success of Japanese companies speaks for it self.
  13. Good for him. He is a free citizen (he should be anyway, I am not a an expert with Japanese Constitutional Law). His government should not TELL him what his salary SHOULD be. As a free citizen, that is for him to decide. Not some buearocrat who is stealing from him.
  14. flywithSQgirl None of your cheek, you stupid dirty chink! That's why you're called crappy scum of cunt. Eat your own shit or something, you inasane moron.
  15. I have so much respect for this man. Unfortunately the airline I work for would never even think of helping us out. Kudos to you sir.......and as far as that SQ comment earlier...what a poor representation of an airline employee...have some grace and class..like YOUR company always brags about...where were you in training???? flywithsqgirl.....SHAME....yours will come...you will see
  16. Japan Airlines is a very lousy Airline!! poor service, poor food, poor aircraft and poor uniform!! It desreves to suffer from Loses. Japan airlines is only like a shit, if compare to Singapore Airlines which is the most favourite airlines for everyone, especially Japanese. Japan is rich but their natinal Airline is so SUCK!!
  17. Reading just a handfull of posts is enlightening. Glad to read there are a few American airline execs doing the same as the JAL president. Nonetheless, Great for him, even if, as one Poster avers, he has shaky tenure in the post, and his self-sacrifices are a successful tool to get concessions from the airline's unions.
  18. fuckin japs!!! japs go to hell!!
  19. I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned, but Continental's CEO Larry Kellner, and President Jeff Smisek have both this year since June or July declined the rest of their salary AND bonuses! Why don't the news pick up this kind of news when it comes to an American management team? Because they're biased and see only what they want to see. Continental's management team is widely known to be one of the most employee-friendly and they truly care about their work force. They are a rare bunch.
  20. Wow if you think JAL is bad (Noone can beat Singapore, I agree), you are very limited in your choice of airlines.
  21. He seems like an alright guy, however, JAL is still a generally shitty airline with poor service. Singapore Airlines is the definitely the best, and this is coming from someone born in Japan.
  22. Lifetime employment in Japan is disappearing as fast as our polar ice caps.More and more people are losing their jobs as Japan Inc. began looking at the Western method to reduce labor costs by hiring temps that can be disposed of when needed. Much of their manufacturing jobs are now outsourced to China just like the U.S. The result? Lots of highly college-educated 20 and 30 something year olds who are desperate for a job now roam the streets of Tokyo.
  23. What is funny is Nishimatsu does not understand why he is focused like this. His way to talk is he is so so embarrased for being interviewed from CNN. He just thinks this is normal way never imagined becoming so famous like this...
  24. what a breath of fresh air from the crooks in the US. Incompetent thieves who ran Lehman, Bear Stern, GM and the likes to the ground.
  25. Hell of a man, i hope he recives recognition, whats the japanese equivalent of a knighthood? Hopefully more buisnessmen will take this route in order to further thier careers
