    To anyone who has read the book For Whom the Bell Tolls, can you tell me where the part where El Sordo is bombed after taking that hill. It's been a couple of years since I've read it. (The song isn't about the whole book, it is about the specific point of El Sordo getting bombed by airplanes after taking a hill)

    umm it was from an old old movie made back in 1943 it was called (you guessed it) for whom the bell tolls. that movie was based on a novel by Ernest Hemmingway. the movie was about an American Mercenary during the Spanish Civil-war that has to blow up a specific Bridge to help the rebels. hope that clears it up =D
