- Ben, I don't mean to sound disrespectful, but I don't really see most Jews in this country as seeing Israel as a real big issue. I am not a Jew, but looking at history of voting in this country, I just don't see it, as Jews have very, very liberal voting records. Liberals have not historically been very pro-Israel, especially when held up to the conservatives.

- I dont like Obama, i cant tell you why. Bush was dumb and i dislike him as a person, and he was the worst president the USA ever had. Obama is certainly not dumb, and i dont dislike him as a person. But i dont know, i think neither Bush nor Obama are presidents the USA deserve. I think, somebody like Lincoln, Jefferson or George Washington would be a president that the USA deserve.

- You may watch Obama with as many computers as you like. But reviving US/global economy is the only solution to the problem. The finance may come indirectly from the east or directly from US/Israeli investors. But if US Economy destroys as is visible on departure of BUSH reign then this watching Obama wont do any good. Immediate solution is withdrawal of direct or indirect US troops on the globe or suicide bombing if God forbid starts at USA I doubt Israel will be able to fullfil its dreams.
- Obama's hands are going to be tied on a lot of issues. He is not going to be able to follow through on many of his promises. There is more to this war than what the people know, and Obama is just now learning of those things... he wont have a choice.

- i can't think of any scenario when the US has been ready to put troops on the ground for israel. it never would have to. no country is going to carry out a ground attack against israel. nukes can play a role in deterrence or at least in destroying an enemy entirely. the only likely threat to israel would be bombs, which no US ground presence could do anything about. in any event, it's secure enough either way, and we american jews have other issues like the financial crisis, housing crisis, etc
