- Sorry Pietroperugino but you would pretty much discount some of the best portrayals of The Joker such as Alan Moore's 'The Killing Joke' if you stuck to your definition of The Joker as "a psycho-killer with zero empathy" That limits The Joker as a character too much.
- Probably because the fans are more dedicated to the story, while the directors and spokespeople are more dedicated to the bottom line...
- Why is it that the fans get the characters better than the directors and spokespeople?
- Ok ledger was good but mark was the best of all the jokers. they should put the joker in the next batman movie along with harley quinn.
- wait there going to be a batgirl in the next batman movie? Who is going to paly her?
- yes!!! thank you!!! he fell in toxic waste!!! health ledger wears make up!!!! jack is funny vicious when doing business with someone and he said what if we say no he hand shakes until he is a skull. Health ledger is just vicous!!! not funnt vicous the best was with the pencil and the hospital when he tryed pressing the button!!! and health ledger didn't even have boby traps like poison squrting flower but as i recall jack had all of that!-
- Well, for what it is worth,I myself have always liked the Joker regardless of who does the acting or supplies the voice for the animated version(s). At the end of the day, it's all about the character in and of its self. As a personal favorite however, Jack Nicholson was fantastic!
- I've seen a longer version of this file. Are there longer versions for all the other villians?
- u got a point about this. And by the way, I replied to your first one.
- I made 2 comments. Couldn't tell which you were replying too. I understand what you are saying, but for me, the Joker has to mesh the qualities of darkness and humor together really well. Heath's lost some of the Joker's comedic charm he's known for. Too much humor will make the Joker a literal joke of a criminal (60's Batman anyone), but too much darkness will just make him a generic sociopath. IMO again.
- Sorry, aren't you the one that said that Hamill blended both darkness and humor of the Joker? I just replied that I like more Ledger's version, that's all.
- thanks
- thanks
- I'm sorry. Which comment are you replying too?
- 1960s Joker: Cesar Romero, I think you'll find.
- But that's the point of how the Joker should be: a psycho-killer, with zero empathy and a sick sense of humour, funny only for him alone. Take the "magic trick", for instance. Yeah, if you ask me, Heath Ledger gave the ultimate portrait of the Joker: an agent of chaos and a mad dog as well, as he says.
- Both are psychotic and care very little about themselves as much as antagonizing Batman. Neither would piss their pants.
- Heath's caught the darkness, but lost some of the humor. Hamil's blended the 2 better IMO
- I know but they mentioned how he would act out the scenes and get really into it and stuff...
- he has only given his voice for an animated series
- is this on a dvd? if so what is the name of it?
- The 60's Joker's name was Cesar Romero. Haha. Thought I'd let ya know. XD
- there are 4 jokers: 1960s-don't know, 1989-jack nicholson, 1992(thought 2000)-mark hamill (the luke skywalker)2008-heath ledger (everybody knows that)
- I'll second that :)
- GIVE US A CLIP OF MARK HAMILL BEING THE JOKER DANG IT! I WANT TO SEE LUKE SKYWALKER BEING MANIACAL xDDD Srsly though....Hamill's Joker is amazing. no joke. (no pun intended either)
