   I'd say before taking anything there should be blood tests and one should explore the dynamics of the family. My problem turned out to be a dysfunctional family (still going on 45 years later) and once I figured out what was going on, I was at the mercy of psychiatrists; I was the one labeled "mentally ill"; it turns out I'm sane; I won't say which parent it was that continues to this day playing mind games, lying, controlling and manipulating. I just don't play the game any more.
